Genius Tools Triple Square Head Drivers 1/2" Dr.

Larger triple square fasteners, the 12-point XZN type used on many European vehicles, are often torqued tightly on axles, CV joints and drivetrain components. A 1/2" drive triple square driver lets you put a full-size ratchet or breaker bar on them without risking the recess.

This Genius Tools series covers nine sizes: M5, M6, M8, M10, M12, M14, M16, M18 and M19. All nine sizes come in a 60mm overall length, and M5, M6, M8 and M10 are also offered in a longer 76mm version, making thirteen drivers in all.

A correctly sized triple square tip sits fully in the fastener and spreads the turning force across all twelve points. That is the best way to avoid stripping the head of a costly or hard-to-replace bolt.

Every driver is made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel for strength under heavy turning loads.
