Genius Tools Triple Square Bit Sockets 1/4" Dr.
Triple square fasteners have a recess with twelve points, formed by three overlapping squares. They are common in automotive assemblies and need a dedicated bit. These Genius Tools Triple Square Bit Sockets put that profile on a 1/4" square drive.
This series offers the M4, M5 and M6 sizes. Each comes in 45mm, 70mm, 100mm and 140mm overall lengths, so you can work on exposed screws with a short socket or reach recessed ones with a longer body without stacking extensions.
All sockets are made of High Speed Tool Steel. A hard tip helps the twelve small points hold their edges, which keeps the fit tight and lowers the risk of rounding out a triple square screw, a common problem when a worn or improvised bit is used.
The small M4 to M6 sizes on a 1/4" drive are made for lighter work such as trim, interior and small cover fasteners. For bigger triple square fasteners on drivetrains and chassis parts, step up to the 3/8" or 1/2" drive series.
