Genius Tools Triple Square Bit Sockets 1/2" Dr.
Large triple square fasteners on drive shafts, CV joints and suspension parts are often tightened to high torque. Genius Tools Triple Square Bit Sockets in 1/2" drive let you use a full-size ratchet, breaker bar or torque wrench on them.
The series covers M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, M12, M14, M16 and M18. M4 to M14 come in 55mm, while M16 and M18 have a 60mm short version. M4 to M18 are offered in 80mm, M4 to M16 in 110mm, 150mm and 190mm, and M6 to M16 in 230mm, for 48 choices.
All sockets are made of High Speed Tool Steel. A hard, well-fitting tip engages all twelve points of the recess, which lowers the risk of rounding a fastener that can be costly to replace.
For axle, flange and drive shaft work, using a 1/2" drive triple square socket with a torque wrench is a reliable way to remove and refit fasteners correctly. The long 190mm and 230mm sizes reach bolts inside deep openings.
