Torque Extensions
- Torque extensions fit between impact wrench and socket and help prevent over-torquing of wheel nuts, which can minimize wheel distortion.
- The shaft is designed to flex with each blow of the impact wrench once the specified torque is reached, accurate to within 4%.
- Seventeen options: 1/2 inch drive from 65 to 150 ft.lbs., 3/4 inch drive from 175 to 350 ft.lbs., 1 inch drive from 250 to 650 ft.lbs.
- Designed for 1/2 inch impact wrenches rated 380-420 ft.lb., 3/4 inch rated 750 ft.lb. and 1 inch rated 1,500 ft.lb.
- Made of Chrome Vanadium Steel; 1/2 and 3/4 inch extensions are 180mm long, and 1 inch extensions are 254mm long.

Genius Tools Torque Extensions
Genius Tools Torque Extensions let you use the speed of an impact wrench on wheel nuts while keeping the final tightness under control. The unique design allows the length and diameter of the extension shaft to flex with each blow of the impact wrench once the specified torque is reached, so the nut is not driven far beyond its target. The extensions are accurate to within 4%.
The various drive sizes and torque limits allow any impact socket to be used with a torque extension that matches the different lug nut sizes found on vehicles. The 1/2 inch drive extensions come in ten limits from 65 ft.lbs. (90 Nm) to 150 ft.lbs. (200 Nm); 3/4 inch drive covers 175, 250 and 350 ft.lbs.; and 1 inch drive covers 250, 350, 475 and 650 ft.lbs. (880 Nm).
They are designed for 1/2 inch impact wrenches rated 380-420 ft.lb., 3/4 inch wrenches rated 750 ft.lb. and 1 inch wrenches rated 1,500 ft.lb. Made of Chrome Vanadium Steel, they help prevent over-torquing and minimize wheel distortion in car and truck service.
