Genius Tools Taper Bit Extractors

A snapped bolt or stripped screw can stop a repair cold. Genius Tools Taper Bit Extractors give you a way out: drill a pilot hole in the broken fastener, insert the extractor and turn it. The taper wedges tighter the more you turn, gripping the fastener from the inside so it can be backed out of the thread.

The series includes eight sizes. Capacities are 3mm (1/8 inch), 5mm (3/16 inch), 6mm (15/64 inch), 8mm (5/16 inch), 9mm (3/8 inch), 12mm (15/32 inch), 14mm (9/16 inch) and 16mm (21/32 inch). Lengths increase from 60mm to 130mm as the extractors get larger, giving more reach for fasteners that broke off deep in a hole.

Choose the extractor that matches the fastener you need to remove, or keep a range on hand so you are prepared when an exhaust stud, cylinder head bolt or small machine screw lets go.
