Genius Tools Tamperproof Star Screwdriver Bits (30mm - 125mm)

Tamperproof star screws have a pin in the middle of the six-lobe recess, which blocks normal star bits. Genius Tools Tamperproof Star Screwdriver Bits have a matching hole in the tip, and their hex shanks fit bit holders, hex drivers and socket adapters.

The series covers fifteen sizes: T-7, T-8, T-9, T-10, T-15, T-20, T-25, T-27, T-30, T-40, T-45, T-50, T-55, T-60 and T-70. The 30mm length also offers T-45 to T-55 on a 1/4" shank. T-60 and T-70 have a 36mm short version on 12mm and 14mm shanks, and the 56mm, 88mm and 125mm lengths cover the size range in each.

Each bit is made of High Speed Tool Steel. The hard steel helps the hollow tip resist wear. The 160mm, 200mm and 225mm bits are on the next catalog page.

These bits also fit regular star screws of the same size, so they can stand in for a standard star bit when needed. Choose the shank size that matches your bit holder or socket adapter when ordering.
