Genius Tools Tamperproof Star Bit Sockets 1/2" Dr.
Large tamperproof star fasteners combine a six-lobe recess with a center pin, and they are often fitted tight. These Genius Tools Tamperproof Star Bit Sockets have a matching hole in the tip and a 1/2" square drive for heavy ratchets, breaker bars and torque wrenches.
The series includes T-20, T-25, T-27, T-30, T-40, T-45, T-50, T-55, T-60 and T-70. T-20 to T-55 come in 55mm, T-60 and T-70 in 60mm, and all ten sizes in 80mm, 110mm, 150mm and 190mm. The 230mm length is offered from T-30 to T-70, for 57 choices.
Each socket is made of High Speed Tool Steel. The bored center makes the tip walls thinner, so the hard steel helps them resist cracking and wear when you work on stubborn security fasteners.
These sockets also fit standard star fasteners of the same size, so one range covers both plain and security types. That makes the series a sensible choice for fleet service, heavy equipment and public works maintenance.
