Genius Tools Swivel Spark Plug Sockets 3/8" Dr.
Genius Tools Swivel Spark Plug Sockets 3/8 inch Dr. combine a spark plug socket with a swivel joint at the drive end. The joint lets the ratchet or extension sit at an angle to the plug, which is a big help when engine parts are in the way of a straight-on approach.
Three sizes are available: a 14mm socket with a 12-point opening, and 16mm (5/8 inch) and 20.6mm (13/16 inch) sockets with 6-point openings. Each one is 90mm long, giving extra reach into deeper plug wells.
Use the swivel version on rear cylinders, under intake parts or wherever coil packs and wiring crowd the plug area. For plugs you can reach straight on, the standard spark plug socket of the same size gives the most direct feel.
All three are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel and fit any 3/8 inch drive ratchet or extension. Many mechanics keep both versions in the drawer so every plug position is covered.
