Genius Tools SAE Universal Hand Sockets (12-Point) 3/8" Dr.

Genius Tools SAE Universal Hand Sockets (12-Point) are 3/8 inch square drive sockets with a joint built into the body. They let you turn an inch-size nut or bolt while the ratchet or extension is held at an angle, which is often the only way to reach fasteners behind other components.

The series covers seven of the most-used SAE sizes, from 3/8 inch through 3/4 inch in sixteenth-inch steps. Lengths run from 51mm on the smaller sizes to 56mm on 11/16 and 3/4 inch.

Because the joint is part of the socket, the assembly stays short and keeps the ratchet closer to the work than a separate universal joint would. The 12-point opening adds convenience by engaging a hex fastener in twelve positions.

Each socket is made of Chrome Vanadium Steel. Add them to an SAE 3/8 inch drive set for exhaust, steering, starter and accessory bolts that sit at awkward angles.
