Genius Tools SAE Thin Wall Impact Sockets 1/2" Dr.
Genius Tools SAE Thin Wall Impact Sockets are made for inch-size fasteners that sit in tight spaces. Their slimmer walls let them fit into recessed wheel lug holes, counterbores and crowded brackets, places where a standard impact socket is simply too wide to reach the nut.
The series offers 24 sizes, from 5/16 inch to 1-5/8 inch, and includes 19/32 inch and 25/32 inch for fasteners that fall between the usual steps. Lengths run from 38mm to 55mm, so each socket stays short and stable on the impact wrench.
These sockets are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel and have a 1/2 inch square drive that fits standard impact wrenches, extension bars and universal joints. Keep them alongside your regular impact sockets for the jobs where clearance, not size, is the challenge.
