Genius Tools SAE Pin Punches

Genius Tools SAE Pin Punches are the inch-sized counterpart to the metric pin punches. The straight, parallel pin end follows a pin right through its hole, making them the right tool for removing roll pins, dowels and solid pins from SAE equipment.

The series is made of High Speed Tool Steel, as printed in the catalog, so the small-diameter punches keep their shape under repeated striking.

Nine punches cover 1/16, 3/32, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 1/4 and 5/16 inch. The two smallest are 100mm long, the 1/8 inch punch 125mm and the 5/32 inch 140mm. The 3/16 and 1/4 inch sizes come in both 160mm and 200mm lengths, and the 5/16 inch punch is 200mm long. Printed pin lengths (L1) run from 25mm to 100mm.

Choose the punch closest to the pin diameter for a clean drive without spreading the pin. The longer versions help when pins sit deep inside a housing, hinge or linkage.
