Genius Tools SAE Long Hex Nut Drivers

Genius Tools SAE Long Hex Nut Drivers give inch-size nut drivers the reach of a 150mm shaft. They are made for fasteners set back in appliances, furnaces, control panels, vehicles and machinery, where a short driver handle would hit the surrounding parts.

There are seven sizes in the series: 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16 and 1/2 inch. The 3/16 and 1/4 inch drivers are 245mm overall, the 5/16 through 7/16 inch are 260mm, and the 1/2 inch is 270mm.

With a long shaft and a full screwdriver handle, you can spin a nut down a long thread quickly and then tighten it with steady pressure. The tool is easy to use one-handed, which helps when your other hand is holding a part in place.

The drivers are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel. Use them together with the standard SAE hex nut drivers to cover both easy and hard-to-reach fasteners.
