Genius Tools SAE Hex Power Screwdriver Bits
Inch-sized hex socket screws turn up on American made machines, vehicles, tools and furniture. Genius Tools SAE Hex Power Screwdriver Bits let you run them with a power tool instead of turning a hex key by hand.
There are thirteen bits in the series. The 50mm group uses a 1/4 inch hex shank and covers 3/32 inch, 1/8 inch, 5/32 inch, 3/16 inch, 7/32 inch and 1/4 inch. The 72mm group uses a 5/16 inch hex shank and covers 1/8 inch, 5/32 inch, 3/16 inch, 7/32 inch, 1/4 inch, 9/32 inch and 5/16 inch.
Using the exact inch size, rather than a close metric size, keeps the bit from spinning in the socket and rounding the corners. The bits are made of High Speed Tool Steel. For metric screws, choose the matching Metric Hex Power Screwdriver Bits. The 72mm length also helps when the screw sits at the bottom of a counterbore or behind a flange.
