  • Every driver has a 70mm shaft, with overall lengths from 165mm on the 1/4 inch to 190mm on the 1/2 inch.
  • Magnet holds fasteners for one-handed work and lifts them out after loosening, so fewer parts get lost inside equipment.

Genius Tools SAE Hex Nut Drivers (with magnet)

Genius Tools SAE Hex Nut Drivers with magnet are designed for inch fasteners that are awkward to hold. A magnet in the socket grips the nut or hex screw, letting you reach in, start the thread and drive it home with one hand.

The series includes six sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16 and 1/2 inch. All have a 70mm shaft. The 1/4 inch driver is 165mm long, the 5/16 to 7/16 inch drivers are 180mm, and the 1/2 inch is 190mm.

Common uses include HVAC panels, appliance service, gutters and sheet metal, electrical boxes and vehicle trim, where hex head screws are frequent and dropped fasteners waste time.

The drivers are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel for a strong, wear-resistant socket that keeps its fit over time. When the fastener sits deeper, choose the matching long SAE magnetic nut driver with a 150mm shaft.
