Genius Tools SAE Hex Head Drivers
Genius Tools SAE Hex Head Drivers combine a hex bit and a socket in one piece, so you can drive internal hex fasteners with a ratchet, torque wrench or breaker bar instead of struggling with an L-shaped key. They are a practical choice for socket head cap screws, set screws on equipment, and hex fasteners on vehicles built to inch sizes.
The series covers ten sizes: 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16 and 3/4 inch. Each driver measures 76mm overall. The socket body is 24mm across on the three smallest sizes, 26mm on 3/8 to 9/16 inch and 28mm on the three largest, which helps when deciding whether a driver will fit into a recess.
Because the hex is held squarely in the socket, force goes straight into the fastener, which helps you break loose stubborn screws and tighten them evenly. Buy only the size you are missing or pick up the full run for an inch hex lineup that sits next to your sockets.
