Genius Tools SAE Hand Sockets with a 3/8 inch drive handle the inch-sized fasteners used on American cars and trucks, lawn and farm equipment, HVAC units and around the home. The 3/8 inch drive is strong enough for most everyday work while staying compact.
Fourteen sizes run from 1/4 inch to 7/8 inch. Along with familiar sizes such as 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 3/4 and 13/16 inch, the series includes the in-between 11/32, 19/32 and 25/32 inch sizes that are easy to miss in a basic set.
The 6-point opening contacts the flats of each fastener, distributing torque and reducing damage to bolt heads. Socket lengths of 28mm to 32mm keep the tool short for crowded spaces.
They fit any 3/8 inch drive ratchet, breaker bar or extension bar. A deep version of this series is available for nuts on long bolts and studs.
