Genius Tools SAE Deep Thin Wall Impact Sockets 3/4" Dr.
Genius Tools SAE Deep Thin Wall Impact Sockets are made for truck wheel service where lug nuts sit deep in the wheel and there is little room around them. The catalog describes this socket type as designed for removing Dayton style lug nuts that are deeply recessed.
The series offers three sizes, 1-1/16 inch, 1-1/8 inch and 1-1/4 inch, each 90mm long. The thin wall keeps the outside diameter between 40mm and 46mm, letting the socket enter recesses that a standard deep socket would not fit.
Each socket has a 6 point opening and a 3/4 inch square drive for heavy-duty impact wrenches. They are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel, and all three are included in the TR-611MS 11 piece truck wheel impact socket set.
If your shop uses 1 inch drive impact wrenches on trucks, the same three sizes are also available in 1 inch drive. Choose the drive size that matches the wrench you use most for wheel work.
