Genius Tools SAE Deep Thin Wall Impact Sockets in 1 inch drive are the heavy-duty version of the deep thin wall truck wheel socket. The catalog describes this socket type as designed for truck wheel servicing when lug nuts, such as Dayton style nuts, are deeply recessed and space is very limited.
The series offers three sizes: 1-1/16 inch, 1-1/8 inch and 1-1/4 inch. All are 90mm long, with a thin outside wall of 43mm to 49mm in diameter so they can enter the recess around the nut.
Each socket has a 6 point opening and a 1 inch square drive for use with 1 inch impact wrenches. They are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel. If your shop runs 3/4 inch drive tools, the same three sizes are also available in a 3/4 inch drive version.
