Genius Tools SAE Deep Swivel Impact Sockets 1/2" Dr.
The Genius Tools SAE Deep Swivel Impact Socket combines a deep socket with a swivel joint in one piece. When a nut sits behind a bracket, hose or frame member, the swivel lets the socket follow the angle of the fastener while the impact wrench stays in a comfortable, open position.
Choose from eight inch sizes: 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16 and 7/8 inch. Every size shares the same 97mm length, so the reach is predictable from one socket to the next, and the deep body clears protruding bolt threads on exhaust, suspension and engine mounts.
Each socket uses a 6 point opening that bears on the flats of the hex for a secure hold, and is made of Chrome Vanadium steel. The 1/2 inch square drive fits common impact wrenches, extensions and adapters, making these swivel sockets a practical addition to an automotive or equipment repair kit.
