Genius Tools SAE Deep Impact Sockets 1" Dr.
Genius Tools SAE Deep Impact Sockets in 1 inch drive are the deep counterpart to the 1 inch SAE standard series. Use them when large inch fasteners sit on long studs or bolts, for example on truck wheels, axle hubs, heavy equipment frames and industrial machinery.
The series covers 62 sizes from 3/4 inch to 4-1/2 inch in 1/16 inch steps, plus 25/32 inch. Socket lengths range from 90mm to 160mm, increasing with size so each socket has the depth its fastener is likely to need.
Each socket has a 6 point opening for secure contact with the flats and a 1 inch square drive for heavy-duty impact wrenches. They are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel to handle repeated impact loads.
When the bolt does not protrude far, the standard-depth SAE 1 inch series in the same sizes keeps the setup shorter. Buying sizes individually lets you build exactly the deep range your machines call for.
