Genius Tools SAE Deep Hand Sockets 3/8" Dr.
Genius Tools SAE Deep Hand Sockets with a 3/8 inch drive reach inch-sized nuts that a standard socket cannot, such as those on U-bolts, long studs, threaded rod and recessed mountings on American vehicles and equipment.
Fourteen sizes are available from 1/4 inch to 7/8 inch. They include the common 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4 and 13/16 inch sizes, plus the in-between 11/32, 19/32 and 25/32 inch sizes.
Each socket is 63mm long, giving room to pass over the thread before the socket grips the nut. The 6-point opening bears on the flats of the hex, which helps prevent rounding when breaking loose tight fasteners.
The sizes match the standard-length 3/8 inch drive SAE sockets, making it easy to build a full shallow and deep range. They fit any 3/8 inch drive ratchet, breaker bar or extension. Single sizes are also handy for replacing a lost socket from an existing set.
