Genius Tools SAE Deep Hand Sockets (12-Point) are the long version of the SAE 3/8 inch drive socket. Their extra depth lets them slide over protruding threads and reach nuts recessed below the surface, which is common on older vehicles, farm equipment, plumbing fixtures and machinery built to inch dimensions.
Fourteen sizes run from 1/4 inch up to 7/8 inch. Next to the standard fractions, the range adds 11/32, 19/32 and 25/32 inch, so odd-sized nuts are covered too. Every socket measures 63mm overall, giving consistent reach throughout the series.
With a 12-point opening, each socket can be placed on a hex fastener at twelve different angles. That speeds up working blind or by feel, and helps when only a short ratchet swing is possible behind other parts.
