Genius Tools Ribe Bit Sockets 3/8" Dr.

Ribe fasteners have a splined recess with rounded teeth and are found on many vehicle assemblies. Using a hex or star bit in them usually damages the recess. These Genius Tools Ribe Bit Sockets have the correct profile in a one-piece bit socket.

This series offers ten sizes: M4, M5, M6, M7, M8, M9, M10, M12, M13 and M14. Each size is available in 50mm, 76mm and 110mm overall lengths, so you can use a short socket where clearance is tight and a longer one to reach fasteners inside the work.

All sockets are made of High Speed Tool Steel, giving a hard tip that holds the spline shape. The same catalog page lists the BS-2310S and BS-3411S Ribe sets, which combine sizes from two drive sizes into one kit.

Ribe sizes are close to each other, so having the full run from M4 to M14 means you always have an exact match. Seat the socket fully before turning, especially on fasteners that have been in place for years.
