Genius Tools Ribe Bit Sockets 1/2" Dr.

Ribe fasteners have a splined recess with rounded teeth, and the bigger ones are often torqued tight on vehicle assemblies. These Genius Tools Ribe Bit Sockets fit that recess and use a 1/2" square drive for full-size ratchets, breaker bars and torque wrenches.

The series includes eleven sizes, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8, M9, M10, M12, M13, M14 and M16, each in 55mm, 80mm and 110mm overall lengths. That covers both small trim fasteners and the larger ones found on axles and drivetrains.

Each socket is made of High Speed Tool Steel. A hard and correctly shaped Ribe tip engages all splines at once, which helps prevent the fastener from rounding when you apply the high torque that a 1/2" drive allows.

This is the series to choose when Ribe fasteners are tight or large, for example on drive shafts. For lighter trim and interior work, the smaller drive Ribe bit sockets in the Genius Tools range are easier to handle.
