Genius Tools Ratchet Head Torque Handle Fittings
Genius Tools Ratchet Head Torque Handle Fittings are the socket-driving heads for interchangeable torque handles. Insert the head into the handle, attach a socket, and you have a ratcheting torque wrench ready to tighten bolts and nuts to a set value.
The series covers both handle systems. For 9 x 12mm handles there is a 1/4 inch drive (56mm), two 3/8 inch drives (56mm and 69mm) and a 1/2 inch drive (69mm). For 14 x 18mm handles there is a 3/8 inch drive (78mm) and 1/2 inch drives at 78mm and 94mm.
Check the insert size on your torque handle first, then pick the drive and head length. Shorter heads keep the effective length close to the handle calibration and fit into tight engine bays, while longer heads give a little more reach.
The ratchet lets you keep the socket seated and work in short arcs, a real time saver in confined spaces. The 14RH40 1/2 inch head is the one supplied in the catalog 11 piece torque handle set.
