Genius Tools Piston Ring Compressors
Installing a piston is one of the most delicate steps in an engine rebuild, and the Genius Tools Piston Ring Compressor makes it controlled and repeatable. The band wraps around the piston and compresses the rings flush with the piston, so the assembly can be tapped down into the bore without catching or snapping a ring.
This series is sized by both capacity and length. The 53~125mm compressor suits smaller pistons and is available in 3 inch (75mm) and 3-1/2 inch (90mm) lengths. The 90~175mm compressor covers larger pistons and comes in five lengths: 3 inch (75mm), 3-1/2 inch (90mm), 4 inch (100mm), 6 inch (150mm) and 6-1/2 inch (165mm).
