Genius Tools Metric & SAE Universal Hand Sockets (12-Point) 1/4" Dr.
Genius Tools Metric & SAE Universal Hand Sockets (12-Point) with a 1/4 inch drive combine a socket and a universal joint in one compact tool. The flexible joint lets the ratchet sit at an angle to the fastener, so you can reach bolts tucked behind brackets, hoses or other components.
The series includes both measuring systems. Metric sizes run from 6mm to 14mm in nine sizes, and SAE sizes run from 1/4 inch to 9/16 inch in six sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2 and 9/16 inch.
A 12-point opening is especially useful on a universal socket because it can find the hex head at many positions, even when the socket is tilted. Lengths range from 33mm to 37mm, shorter than adding a separate universal joint and socket together.
Each socket is made of Chrome Vanadium Steel for strength and durability. They suit automotive, small engine and equipment work with any 1/4 inch drive ratchet or extension.
