Genius Tools Metric & SAE Hex Nut Drivers 1/4" Hex Shank
Genius Tools Metric & SAE Hex Nut Drivers with a 1/4 inch hex shank are nut drivers without a fixed handle. Instead, the hex shank slips into any tool that takes 1/4 inch hex bits, such as a ratcheting screwdriver handle or a bit holder, so one handle can drive the whole range.
The series includes 19 sizes. Metric drivers are 4, 5, 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14mm. SAE drivers are 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16 and 1/2 inch. All are 140mm long.
Each socket is a 6 point design that bears on the flat sides of the nut rather than its corners. That spreads the load and lowers the chance of rounding a tight or worn fastener.
The drivers are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel. Because they share one shank size, they store compactly and swap quickly, which suits technicians who want many nut sizes without carrying a full handle for each.
