Genius Tools Metric & SAE Hex Head Hand Sockets 1/4" Dr.

Genius Tools Metric & SAE Hex Head Hand Sockets with a 1/4 inch drive fit internal hex fasteners such as socket-head cap screws and set screws. Fitting a hex bit to a ratchet makes these screws much quicker to run in and out than with an L-shaped key.

The series covers both measuring systems. Metric sizes are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10mm. SAE sizes are 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, 9/32, 5/16 and 3/8 inch, sixteen sizes in all.

Each socket is 25mm long with a 12mm body diameter, keeping the tool compact for fasteners in machine guards, bicycle and motorcycle parts, furniture and automotive components. Using the exact size helps keep the hex recess from rounding.

All sockets are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel, a strong alloy used widely in hand tools. They fit any 1/4 inch drive ratchet, spinner or extension.
