Genius Tools Metric & SAE Flare Nut Wrenches - Mirror Finish
Genius Tools Metric & SAE Flare Nut Wrenches - Mirror Finish are made for tube fittings. The head wraps further around the nut than an open end wrench, yet has a gap so it can slide over a brake line, fuel pipe or hydraulic tube to reach the fitting.
This added grip matters because line nuts are often soft and easily rounded by a standard wrench. A flare nut wrench spreads the force over more flats, so you can loosen and tighten fittings with much less risk of damage.
The series offers 11 double-ended wrenches. Metric sizes are 9 x 11, 10 x 12, 13 x 14, 15 x 17, 16 x 18 and 19 x 21mm. SAE sizes are 1/4 x 5/16, 3/8 x 7/16, 1/2 x 9/16, 5/8 x 11/16 and 3/4 x 7/8 inch. Lengths range from 135mm to 225mm, and the heads are set at 15 degrees.
