Genius Tools Metric Pin Punches
Genius Tools Metric Pin Punches have a straight, parallel pin at the working end, so they can follow a pin all the way through its hole. They are used to drive out roll pins, solid pins and dowels in automotive, machinery and equipment work.
This series is made of High Speed Tool Steel, as printed in the catalog. That material lets the slim pin end resist bending and wear under hammer blows.
Eight punches cover metric pin sizes from 2mm to 8mm. The 2mm punch is 100mm long, the 3mm punch 125mm and the 4mm punch 140mm. The 5mm and 6mm sizes come in 160mm and 200mm overall lengths, and the 8mm punch is 200mm long. The printed pin length (L1) runs from 30mm up to 100mm, and the body (H) is from 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
Match the punch to the pin diameter for a clean drive, and pick the longer version when the pin sits deep in a housing.
