Genius Tools Metric Jumbo Impact Sockets 3-1/2" Dr.
Genius Tools Metric Jumbo Impact Sockets with a 3-1/2 inch drive are designed for the very largest metric fasteners in industry, such as those on heavy presses, large mining equipment and power generation machinery.
The series runs from 105mm to 235mm in 5mm steps, giving twenty-seven sizes in all. Lengths grow with the socket, from 175mm on the smallest to 275mm on the largest, so each one can fully engage the nut and pass over the stud end.
A 6-point opening grips the flats of the fastener, which is the preferred design for impact work because it applies force evenly and protects the corners of the nut. Each socket is made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel, an alloy used in impact tooling for its ability to absorb heavy shock loads.
Please note that sockets with a drive size of 2-1/2 inch or higher are not stock items and are custom ordered. Lead times of up to 60 days apply, so order ahead of planned shutdowns.
