GT-METRIC-HEX-SCREWDRIVERS
  • Metric hex screwdrivers turn socket head screws with a comfortable screwdriver handle instead of an L-shaped key.
  • Ten sizes from 2mm to 10mm, including 2.5mm, so you can match nearly every metric cap screw.
  • 2mm to 3mm drivers are 150mm long; 4mm is 170mm; 5mm and 6mm are 185mm; 7mm to 10mm are 235mm.
  • Handles grow from 80mm to 120mm with the hex size, giving more grip on the larger screws.
  • Made of High Speed Tool Steel so the hex tip keeps its corners and does not round out the screw socket.

Genius Tools Metric Hex Screwdrivers

Metric socket head screws are found on machines, bicycles, furniture and vehicle parts. Genius Tools Metric Hex Screwdrivers let you spin these screws in and out quickly, with better reach and control than a hex key.

The series covers ten sizes: 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm and 10mm. The 2mm to 3mm drivers are 150mm long, the 4mm is 170mm, the 5mm and 6mm are 185mm, and the 7mm to 10mm drivers are 235mm long with a 115mm blade and a large 120mm handle.

A straight driver is ideal for fast turning and for screws set down in counterbores, where a key is awkward to use.

All drivers are made of High Speed Tool Steel. For inch-sized screws, see the SAE Hex Screwdrivers, and for angled access the Metric Wobble Hex Screwdrivers. Keeping one driver per size saves time hunting for the right key in a set.
