Metric Hex Nut Drivers
- Metric hex nut drivers work like a socket on a screwdriver handle, spinning small nuts and hex bolts on quickly.
- Twelve metric sizes from 4mm to 14mm, including 5.5mm, cover electronics, appliance, HVAC and automotive fasteners.
- Each driver has a 70mm shaft, with overall lengths of 165mm, 180mm or 190mm depending on size.
- The screwdriver grip lets you start nuts by hand and tighten them evenly, with no ratchet or extension needed.
- Made of Chrome Vanadium Steel for strong hex sockets that resist spreading under turning force.

Genius Tools Metric Hex Nut Drivers
Genius Tools Metric Hex Nut Drivers combine a hex socket and a screwdriver handle in one tool. They are a quick, comfortable way to run small nuts and hex head screws on and off, and are popular with electricians, appliance and HVAC technicians, and anyone assembling equipment.
The series offers 12 metric sizes: 4, 5, 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14mm. All have a 70mm shaft. The 4mm to 6mm drivers are 165mm long, 7mm to 12mm are 180mm, and the 13mm and 14mm are 190mm with a larger handle for more turning force.
Compared with a socket and ratchet, a nut driver is faster to pick up and easier to use in a straight line, and it gives a good feel for when a small fastener is snug, which helps protect light threads and panels.
Each driver is made of Chrome Vanadium Steel to keep the hex socket true. For fasteners you cannot reach with a 70mm shaft, see the long metric nut drivers.
