Genius Tools Metric Hex Bit Sockets 3/8" Dr.

Genius Tools Metric Hex Bit Sockets on a 3/8" square drive are built for everyday mechanical work, from brake calipers and engine covers to machine guards. A ratchet gives faster, stronger turning than a hex key.

The series spans ten sizes: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm and 12mm. All of them come in 50mm, 110mm, 140mm and 180mm overall lengths, and the 6mm to 12mm sizes are also available at 220mm, giving 47 choices. Longer sockets let you reach recessed cap screws without stacking extensions.

Each socket is made of High Speed Tool Steel. A hard, accurate hex tip seats fully in the screw, which reduces rounding and helps you apply the higher torque that a 3/8" drive allows. The same page also offers the BS-310HM metric set.

For many workshops the 3/8" drive metric hex range is the most used size class. Choose a short length for direct access and add a long length in sizes like 6mm, 8mm and 10mm, which appear often on vehicles and equipment.
