Genius Tools Metric Hand Sockets (12-Point) 3/8" Dr.
Genius Tools Metric Hand Sockets (12-Point) with a 3/8 inch drive are designed for work where access is tight and the ratchet has little room to swing. The 12-point opening finds the fastener at twice as many positions as a 6-point socket, so it is quick to get onto bolts you cannot see well.
The series includes seventeen sizes, every whole millimetre from 6mm to 22mm. That range covers most fasteners on cars, motorcycles, appliances and machinery.
Socket lengths of 28mm to 32mm keep the tool compact. A 12-point socket also fits 12-point fasteners.
Each socket is made of Chrome Vanadium Steel, a strong and wear-resistant alloy widely used in quality hand tools. Several sizes are also offered in 8 piece 12-point sets with a socket holder. Use them with any 3/8 inch drive ratchet or extension. Keep a 6-point socket of the same size for fasteners that are badly corroded or very tight.
