Genius Tools Metric Deep Swivel Impact Sockets with a 3/8 inch drive solve two problems at once. The deep body reaches nuts on long studs or bolts, and the built-in universal joint lets you work at an angle when the fastener is not in line with your tool.
The series has 12 sizes: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19mm. Each socket measures 95mm overall, compared with 53mm for the standard swivel version, so it adds useful reach into recessed areas such as exhaust manifolds and intake runners.
A six point opening bears on the flats of the fastener for a secure grip that helps protect the corners. The single piece design is shorter and steadier than stacking a deep socket on a separate universal joint.
These sockets are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel and work with 3/8 inch impact wrenches, ratchets and extension bars.
