Genius Tools Metric Deep Jumbo Impact Sockets are built for the largest jobs in the shop: mining and construction machinery, industrial plant, rail and heavy truck work where metric fasteners are measured in tens of millimetres. Each socket has a 1-1/2 inch square drive to match high-output impact wrenches.
The series covers thirty-eight sizes from 35mm up to 165mm. The smaller end steps by one millimetre from 35mm to 43mm, then the range continues through 46mm, 50mm, 52mm and onward to 165mm, so you can buy exactly the size a machine uses.
A deep profile, from 120mm long on the smallest sockets to 230mm on the largest, lets the socket slide over a long threaded stud and still seat fully on the nut. The 6-point opening bears on the flats of the fastener, spreading the load and reducing the chance of rounding a stubborn, rusted nut.
Every socket is made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel, the alloy typically used for impact-rated sockets because it absorbs repeated shock loads. Pair them with the matching 1-1/2 inch drive impact extension bars when extra reach is needed.
