Genius Tools Metric Deep Impact Sockets 1/2" Dr. (Cr-Mo)
Genius Tools Metric Deep Impact Sockets in 1/2 inch drive are the answer when a standard socket bottoms out on a protruding bolt. The 78mm deep body slides over long studs and threads so the socket seats fully on the nut, whether you are working on suspension, axles or industrial equipment.
The range covers 8mm through 41mm in 1mm steps, plus a 46mm size, so most metric deep-socket jobs are covered. Four of the most used sizes, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm and 21mm, are also offered as Thin Wall sockets with a slimmer outside diameter for nuts sitting in narrow pockets, such as wheel lug recesses.
Use the Type selector to choose Standard Wall or Thin Wall where both are available. All sockets have a 6 point opening for a secure grip, a 1/2 inch square drive, and are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel for impact wrench use.
