Genius Tools Metric Deep Hand Sockets (12-Point) 1/2 inch Dr. combine the reach of a deep socket with the quick fit of a 12-point opening. They are designed for 1/2 inch drive ratchets and handles on jobs where the nut sits far down a stud or bolt.
The series runs from 8mm to 41mm in thirty-four sizes, all 78mm long. That covers common metric fasteners on cars, light trucks and machinery, including the large sizes that smaller drive sockets cannot handle.
Twelve points let the socket slide onto a nut at many angles, which is a benefit when you are reaching behind parts, working overhead, or turning the ratchet in short strokes.
Each socket is made of Chrome Vanadium Steel. Use these deep 12-point sockets alongside the 6-point deep series for a complete 1/2 inch drive metric kit. Choose single sizes to replace lost sockets or to extend an existing set into the larger metric sizes used on trucks and machinery.
