Genius Tools Metric Deep Hand Sockets 1/2 inch Dr. are long sockets for 1/2 inch drive tools. Their 78mm length clears protruding threads so the socket seats fully on the nut, which is essential on suspension studs, U-bolts, exhaust flanges and equipment mounts.

With thirty-four metric sizes from 8mm through 41mm, this series covers nearly every metric nut you will meet in automotive, truck and machinery work. Every socket has the same 78mm length, so reach is consistent no matter which size you pick.

The 6-point opening bears on the flat sides of the hex instead of the corners. That gives a secure grip under the higher forces used with 1/2 inch drive ratchets and breaker bars, and reduces the chance of damaging the fastener.
