Genius Tools Impact Universal Joints 3/4" Dr.
A universal joint lets you turn a fastener that is not in a straight line with the impact wrench. Genius Tools Impact Universal Joints in 3/4 inch drive fit between the wrench or extension and the socket, flexing so the socket can stay square on the nut while the tool sits at an angle.
That is useful in heavy vehicle and equipment work, where frames, axles and hydraulic lines often block a straight approach. The joint measures 110mm long with a 44mm outside diameter.
Two versions are available. The pin hole type is used with a retaining pin for a positive lock on the socket, while the steel ball type holds the socket by detent for fast socket changes. Both are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel and have 3/4 inch square drive ends.
For best results, use the universal joint at a moderate angle and pair it with an extension bar when you need both reach and an offset. Matching pin hole or steel ball retention on the joint and the socket setup keeps changes consistent.
