Genius Tools Impact Universal Joints 1" Dr.
Genius Tools Impact Universal Joints in 1 inch drive add a flexible joint between your 1 inch impact wrench and the socket. When a fastener cannot be reached in a straight line, the joint lets the socket stay square on the nut while the wrench is held at a workable angle.
This is valuable on heavy vehicles and equipment, where chassis members, axles and hydraulic components often block direct access. The joint is 130mm long with a 52mm outside diameter.
Choose the pin hole type, which is used with a retaining pin to lock the socket on firmly, or the steel ball type, which holds the socket by detent for quick socket swaps. Both versions are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel and have 1 inch square drive ends.
For the best result, use the joint at a moderate angle and combine it with a 1 inch extension bar when you need both reach and an offset. A matching 3/4 inch drive universal joint is also available.
