Genius Tools Impact Extension Bars #5 Dr.
Genius Tools Impact Extension Bars with a #5 spline drive extend the reach of heavy-duty impact wrenches used in truck, bus and equipment service. They are useful wherever the wrench body would otherwise hit the tyre, wheel, frame or bodywork.
Two lengths are available. The 200mm bar adds reach while keeping the assembly short and stable for everyday wheel work. The 380mm bar provides much greater clearance for fasteners deep behind hubs or inside equipment.
Both bars are made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel, the alloy usually chosen for impact accessories because it withstands repeated shock without cracking.
Pair them with the #5 spline drive impact sockets, including the metric, SAE, deep, thin wall and Budd wheel series, for a flexible heavy-duty system. Use the shortest bar that reaches the fastener to deliver the most impact energy. For very deep fasteners the two bars can be used one after the other, though a single bar of the right length gives the most direct drive.
