Genius Tools Impact Extension Bars 3/4" Dr.
Genius Tools 3/4 inch drive Impact Extension Bars give heavy-duty impact wrenches the reach they need on trucks, buses and equipment. Use them to get past large tires, deep wheel dishes and frame members, or simply to work in a more comfortable position.
Five lengths are available: 100mm, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm and 400mm. The shorter bars keep the setup tight and stable, while the 400mm bar reaches fasteners well inside the machine.
Each length comes in a pin hole version and a steel ball version. Pin hole bars are used with a retaining pin to lock the socket on during heavy impact work; steel ball bars hold the socket with a detent ball for faster changes. All bars are made of Chrome Molybdenum steel.
Using the shortest bar that reaches the fastener keeps the setup rigid and helps deliver the most impact force to the nut. Many shops keep one short and one long bar of each retention type on the truck or service cart.
