Genius Tools Impact Extension Bars 2-1/2" Dr.
Genius Tools Impact Extension Bars with a 2-1/2 inch drive are made for the biggest impact tools in industrial maintenance. They fit between the wrench and a jumbo socket to reach nuts that sit inside wheel hubs, flanges or machine housings.
Two lengths are available. The 250mm bar adds useful reach while keeping the assembly as short and rigid as possible, and the 320mm bar gives extra clearance for fasteners buried deeper inside the equipment.
Each bar is made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel. This alloy is commonly used for impact accessories because it tolerates the repeated hammering of an impact mechanism, which matters even more at this drive size where the forces are very high.
Use them with the 2-1/2 inch drive metric jumbo impact sockets, from 60mm to 235mm, or the SAE jumbo sockets in the same drive. Choosing the shortest bar that reaches the fastener keeps the most impact energy going into the nut.
