Genius Tools Impact Extension Bars with a 1/2 inch drive give your impact wrench the reach it needs for fasteners buried behind wheels, brackets or frame members. Fit one between the tool and the socket to keep your hands and the wrench body clear of the work area.
The series offers seven lengths: 50mm (2 inch), 75mm (3 inch), 125mm (5 inch), 150mm (6 inch), 200mm (8 inch), 250mm (10 inch) and 300mm (12 inch). Choosing the shortest bar that reaches gives the stiffest, most controlled setup, so having several lengths on hand is worthwhile.
Typical uses include suspension and brake components, engine mounts and underbody fasteners, as well as machinery work where bolts sit at the bottom of a housing.
