Big fasteners are often buried behind hubs, guards or frame members where the body of a large impact wrench cannot follow. Genius Tools Impact Extension Bars with a 1-1/2 inch drive solve that problem by placing extra length between the wrench and the socket.
Choose from three lengths. The 175mm bar adds modest reach while keeping the assembly short and easy to control. The 250mm bar is a practical middle length for general heavy-equipment work, and the 330mm bar gives the most clearance for fasteners set deep inside wheels or housings.
These bars are made of Chrome Molybdenum Steel, the same alloy used for the matching 1-1/2 inch drive deep jumbo impact sockets. It is selected for impact tooling because it copes with the hammering pulses of an impact wrench.
Keeping the extension as short as the job allows helps transfer the most energy to the fastener, so many users keep more than one length on hand.
