  • Impact adapters let a 3/8 inch drive tool turn sockets of a different drive size, so one impact wrench handles more sockets.
  • Choose 3/8 inch female to 1/4 inch male for small sockets, or 3/8 inch female to 1/2 inch male for larger sockets.
  • The step-down 1/4 inch adapter is 30mm long and the step-up 1/2 inch adapter is 35mm long, keeping the setup compact.
  • Built as impact accessories to work with impact wrenches as well as hand ratchets and extensions.
  • Made of Chrome Vanadium Steel for strength when transferring torque between drive sizes.

Genius Tools Impact Adapters 3/8" Dr. (Cr-V)

Genius Tools Impact Adapters with a 3/8 inch drive connect your 3/8 inch impact wrench or ratchet to sockets of another drive size. Instead of buying a second tool, you can step down to small 1/4 inch drive sockets or step up to 1/2 inch drive sockets for larger fasteners.

Two adapters make up this series. The first has a 3/8 inch female drive and a 1/4 inch male drive and measures 30mm. The second has a 3/8 inch female drive and a 1/2 inch male drive and measures 35mm. Both are short, so they add very little length to the tool.

Keep both in your kit to use your 3/8 inch tools with the whole socket collection. When stepping up, remember that the 3/8 inch tool remains the limiting factor on the job, so choose the adapter for convenience and reach rather than to replace a larger wrench.

Both adapters are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel.

  • Type: impact adapter
  • Female drive: 3/8"
  • Male drive: 1/4" (30mm) or 1/2" (35mm)
