  • Impact adapters with a 1/2 inch female drive let a 1/2 inch impact wrench or ratchet turn sockets of another drive size.
  • Step down with the 1/2 inch female to 3/8 inch male adapter, 38mm long, to use your 3/8 inch sockets.
  • Step up with the 1/2 inch female to 3/4 inch male adapter, 41mm long, to run larger 3/4 inch drive sockets.
  • Short lengths add very little to the overall setup, keeping the tool close to the fastener.

Genius Tools Impact Adapters 1/2" Dr. (Cr-V)

Genius Tools Impact Adapters with a 1/2 inch drive connect your 1/2 inch impact wrench or ratchet to sockets of a different drive. They are a simple way to get more use out of the tools you already own.

The series has two adapters. The step-down adapter has a 1/2 inch female drive and a 3/8 inch male drive and is 38mm long, so you can use 3/8 inch drive sockets on a 1/2 inch tool when the fastener is smaller. The step-up adapter has a 1/2 inch female drive and a 3/4 inch male drive and is 41mm long, letting you reach for 3/4 inch drive sockets on larger hardware.

Both adapters are short, so they add little length or wobble to the setup. When stepping up, keep in mind that the 1/2 inch tool still sets the limit on how much torque you can apply.

They are made of Chrome Vanadium Steel and sit alongside the 1/2 inch impact sockets in the catalog.

  • Type: impact adapter
  • Female drive: 1/2"
  • Male drive: 3/8" (38mm) or 3/4" (41mm)
